We are currently looking to hire a full time VP of Partner Growth and Acquisitions. The VP of Partner Growth and Acquisitions is a strategic role responsible for (1) Researching, identifying and winning over key potential strategic channel partners and convincing them of the value of investing in a SYSPRO practice; and (2) Identifying existing channel partners that have an appetite for growth and can fulfill demand in key territories needing partner fulfillment. The VP of Partner Growth and Acquisition are responsible for working together with the Strategic Partner Manager, for onboarding the partner and developing them into a repeatable self-sustaining success in sales. The major objective of the role is to build and execute on a rich partner acquisition pipeline of premium (strategic) partners to enhance SYSPRO’s growth strategy.

The VP of Partner Growth and Acquisitions will be responsible for growing the strategic partner ecosystem in the US by identifying, strategizing, and successfully recruiting new channel partners as well as working with existing strategic channel partners in negotiating and executing partner growth strategies to expand SYSPRO’s market reach.  This role will require the VP of Partner Growth and Acquisitions to champion the “Why invest in a SYSPRO practice.”

 

The VP of Partner Growth and Acquisition position is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Research and identify key strategic partners that will help fulfill SYSPRO’s strategic growth initiatives in territories where capacity and capability.
  • Work with marketing and SYSPRO Global channel team to develop collateral and models to show the value in investing in a SYSPRO Practice.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop committed, loyal, scalable partners
  • Build and cultivate lasting, meaningful relationships with the SYSPRO channel partner community
  • Develop high level relationships (C-level) to serve as a trusted consultant to channel partners
  • Ensure that partners meet the requirements of the PartnerUP program including training, certification and attendance at SYSPRO sponsored trade shows, training sessions and industry events
  • Responsible for the overall partner relationship, including: strategic planning, revenue growth targets and all operations necessary to profitably retain, grow and service the customer
  • Meet and exceed pipeline as well as revenue quota from your portfolio of channel partners
  • Structure, negotiate and execute deals with prospective channel partners
  • Participate in continuously improving our Channel Partner program and go-to-market strategy
  • Align with channel partners to understand end-user requirements and how to deliver successful partnering outcomes
  • Reports on sales metrics and suggest improvements
  • Clearly communicate progress of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with inside sales team to identify and grow opportunities
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales

 

Qualification/Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related or similar relevant field or must have minimum amount of experience with references and or achievements to prove the capability. Channel acquisition and channel development experience is key
  • 8+ years of progressive channel development and leadership experience within the Business to Business software industry

  • Demonstrable track record of success in strategic planning, owning sales targets and managing sales forecast

  • Record of recruiting and enabling top talent
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, other concessions and terms and conditions
  • Proven track record in developing strategic partnerships
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Full knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Full knowledge of CRM tools and social media tools used for networking
  • Strong understanding of channel program’s and earnings models
  • Knowledge of software alignment with customer’s strategic objectives

Travel Requirements:

  • 10-40% of travel is required as necessary to meet with partners and prospective partners
