Syspro 8 2026 R2 improves how precisely the system records physical and financial activity, from the weight of goods moving through production to the bank an invoice is paid from.

Traceability data for the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Section 204 rule and the EU Digital Product Passport is captured in one framework, ready to extend as new mandates arrive. Inventory valuation and costing follow the measured weight of goods that vary unit to unit. Sales orders are checked against business rules and customer contracts as they're entered, so errors surface before an order is released.

Finance, manufacturing and distribution teams also get updates to the processes they run every day, from paying suppliers to promising ship dates.

Sales orders can enter a new Draft status until rule checks and approvals are satisfied. Errors and warnings appear in sales order entry, and a review program lets operators search and filter flagged orders and open them to correct. Works with the rules engine in Syspro Torque.

Sales orders can be restricted to contracted stock codes at the contracted price. Each line is checked against the customer's active contract before it saves, with a hard stop or an overridable warning set per customer, so contract terms are enforced at order entry.
